BUYING ALL OF THE NORWEGIAN TUNES.
So that just happened. Maybe not the best thing for the bank account but great for my musical psyche. It’s really just these two I love: Nils Økland, who plays the Hadanger fiddle, and singer/pianist Susanne Sundfør.  But man, these two… I love them a whole lot. Fun story, I also fond both of them through tumblr. What are the chances.

Apocalyp[s]ense: The end of the world →
apocalypsense: Or at least it felt like the end of the world when we were there last December. A bit more to the north and you’d fall off. I saw a documentary about Hammerfest the other day, the northernmost city of the world where people struggle with 2 months of darkness each winter, because the sun doesn’t… I want to go here!

We had a mock exam in Greek today.
Uuuuugh it was not at all pleasant. I think the passage had something to do with reading books…? Why do I do this to myself, I ask you.

GUYS GUYS NEW FAVOURITE PERIOD DRAMA
It’s called “The Way We Live Now,” based on a novel by Trollope, and it is Superb and Hilarious and Insightful. I’ve only watched one episode and I’m already getting a little heart broken and — all of the feels — THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.
